Christmas at Aunt Joyce's
We had our first Christmas celebration of 2007 with Matt's Dad's side of the family. Ian got his first remote control car which he loves and Joel got a noisy hammer, yeah. Really it was great fun. Good food, nice people, the boys loved their gifts and nobody cried the whole way home.

A hunting we will go...
The annual great Christmas tree hunt went off without a hitch. Nobody got too lost for too long. Although there were quite a few confusing moments. Also nobody fell off the van as has happened in years past. The boys are getting so big and simply loved tromping around the Christmas tree farm this year. Joel is simply amused by the long grass sticking up in his face, oh to have the fascination of a 1 1/2 year old. Enjoy some pictures. :)

Beautiful fall days.
I just love beautiful fall days when it's warm enough to play outside, but cool enough to wear long sleeves. We had two days in a row just like that. I took the opportunity to enjoy them outside with the boys playing in leaves, riding bikes, and taking lots of pictures. Take a look at the pictures on our web album.

Why that title?
Good question. Simple answer I asked Ian what the title should be. I explained what a blog was and he thought this title was appropriate. Actually, I agree with my 3 year old. I explained that it was going to be about our family and the things we do. Really, on any given day if you called and asked about my day it would most likely include something like....and then the smoke alarm went off. For those of you that wonder, probably after getting off the phone with me, no we really don't live in utter chaos. We do have a busy household with these two energetic and inventive boys, but mostly we just have fun.
